It's my 10th Wedding Anniversary next weekend and I have decided to run a Blog Candy post to celebrate offering the chance to win some fab Hero Art and Anita wedding themed rubber stamps. I have decided it would be best to have a blog candy post rather than a challenge (as originally planned) as I am suffering from neck and wrist/hand problems and finding it quite painful being online for any length of time. Holding a Candy prize will mean you guys have the opportunity to win a fab prize for free and I don't have to blog hop (which I'm finding difficult at the moment).
.
So here's what you have to do to enter:
.
Add your name and blog address to Mr Linky below; become a follower (if you are not one already that is) and link to this post :D Simples!

Spotlight on Michelle

Here is a crafter who I love to hear from when new digis appear on DD - ((( Michelle ))). I'm sure you will all agree, Michelle has made a couple of fab card designs here using 'Toto Turtle' and 'Belle'... Why not pop over and visit her blog and have a wee browse and say 'hello' from your own corner of the world... That's what I love about blogging and paper crafters - we get to make so many lovely new friends from all over the world whereas we may never have had the privilege of such before www.
.
Thank you for sharing these Michelle - they are really lovely xx

I love the world of blog :D

.
.
I am really chuffed to have received this fab card from Gina . My neck is aggravatingly uncomfy today and when I saw this fab card - it really cheered me up. Thank you sooooooooooooo much Gina for your "Get well" wishes. This is so kind of you hun xx

Wot a pain in the neck!

Got the result of my x-ray explained today and it turns out I have something called 'Osteophytosis' in my neck. Basically, we have 7 discs in our neck and turns out 2 of mine are wearing... what's more the reason my fingers have been going numb and painfully sore (plus other symptoms) is because the 2 discs which are wearing are the 2 which have to do with nerves. I have basically to ensure my posture is right when sitting and standing, not lift anything heavy, etc... plus keep taking the tablets! If things get any worse and I notice any weakness in my arm, etc - I have to go back asap. Apparently, Osteophytosis is a type of Arthritis. At least I know now! I guess I can count it a joy that it is not something more serious as it could be a lot worse :D
.
P.S. Thank you all for your good will wishes - you are a fab bunch and I appreciate every one who has posted :D

Drum roll please...

First of all I want to thank ((( ALL ))) the lovelies who posted some fantastic magazine covers for this particular challenge. There have been some really romantic covers posted, some scary, some stylish, and many funny ones and it really has been fun sifting through them since the start of the competition :D
.
I still have some blog entries to visit from this past week's entrants and apologise for not having done so but I am suffering from neck and wrist problems and have not been going online to see if this helps alleviate the pain. So if you find that I haven't yet visited your blog - I'm sure you will understand if I'm a little late in popping round...

Anyway, enough of my ramblings... Onto the more interesting part of the post...

My favourite 'hairy boy'

.

Trying to get BB to sit still for more than 3 seconds is a real challenge and I had to kid on I had a Bonio biccy for him (which he just about toppled me over in an attempt to find)!! Serves me right for telling porky pies :D
.
... Anyway, this is BB taken a short while ago in the snow... I tried to get a pic of him chasing snowballs but each time I just ended up with a tail and my feet as the end result so gave up on that idea...
.
P.S. BB got a Bonio when I got home and is a really happy boy now :D

Spotlight on Helene

.

My computer friends

Spotted this piccy on Liz at Liz's Creative Corner this am and remembered this wee computer poem...
.
Computer Prayer

Dear Lord,

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.

God bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do,
Hope you don't mind me asking
Please bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's unusual
To bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.

You see that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends,
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.

I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you,
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew.

Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.

Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail in-box
And each person who hits send.
.
Sending you all love and hugs today and a very special "Happy Birthday to Liz" over at Liz's Creative Corner (why not pop over and wish her a Happy Birthday too :D)
