Meet the new design team...

.

... The first is Liz from Liz's Creative Corner. I'm sure many of you have already seen examples of Liz's stunning cards, but for those who haven't - then you are in for a treat... I first met Liz online when she coloured one of my first ever freebie digital stamps called 'Christmas Tilly'. I love Liz's designs and her attention to detail is excellent... Liz is a firm favourite of mine and I am delighted to have her on the team.

The second new DT member is Mandy from A Sprinkling of Glitter. I'm sure many of you have already seen Mandy's beautiful card designs but if not - you really must visit her blog because you don't want to miss out on this very talented ladies projects (plus Mandy has a fab 'Followers Christmas Candy Challenge' running until 30th November)... Mandy has a natural eye for colour and uses a variety of colouring techniques... including one of my favourite mediums, i.e. chalks... Chalks look fab with digis and Mandy has used chalks in her project below... As many of you already know - I have never hidden my admiration for Mandy's designs and I'm sure you will all agree that they are just beautiful...

Putting my own stamp on it!

.
.
.
My first ever rubber stamp was produced a few days ago and received by post yesterday... I couldn't wait to make a card with it and have used one of my favourite crafting methods, i.e. 'paper piecing'. I was really curious to find out what the stamp would come out like in the rubber stamp version and am happy with this one...
.
.So, is this a 'trial' run?
.
Digital Doodling is my recreational hobby and I am really thrilled that others are having fun with these stamps too. Thanks to everyone who has emailed, left comments, etc to ask about the possibility of these digi stamps being for sale. If there is enough interest generated over the next few months, I promise I will seriously consider such and look into what is involved.
..
Thanks to those who have been following this blog from the start, i.e. Mandy, Kathleen, Liz and Diane - you have each been a great encouragement to me and have seen these little doodles progress a little at a time as well as encourage me every step of the way thus far... I really and truly appreciate you. Each of you (plus the other followers) have made this hobby so much of a pleasure and whether or not these little doodles are for sale in the future (whether in rubber stamp or digital stamp format), I intend to continue with Digital Doodling - so please stay in touch and look out for more freebie digi's. xx

Holly Tilly

.

I just love the autumn colours which look like they are painted all over the trees at the moment. Oranges, browns, golds, reds and greens - just lovely. My hubby and I were admiring them on our journey across Aberdeenshire towards Alford at the weekend. I decided to use autumn colours in this card and because there are loads of 'holly' berries in full bloom too and it is kind of fitting (given the name of this digi stamp)!
.
I used a mixture of Dovecraft pens, Promarker pens and Dovecraft chalks to colour the image and background...

This particular stamp was designed with June in mind and is a one off digi stamp which belongs to her alone.
.
June has expertly coloured this stamp to make it look all dewy and dreamy... I am really excited about seeing the card she produces (when she gets some time) as she is a wonderful card designer and I'm sure you will all agree when you check out her collection - click HERE...

'Teenie Star' and 'Ready or not - here I come' Teenie!

.

.
This afternoon's project was to make a couple of cards using the Teenie Bopper range of digi stamps. They turned out quite colourful and bright and cheered me up 'cos it's a horrible, dark, damp day here in the north east coast of Scotland... winter's definitely on it's way! Anyway, thought these would make suitable children's cards... I'd be interested to know what you think?
